If your name is already on the wait list, the BHA will maintain your application by name, date and time you applied.   As an applicant, it is your responsibility to ensure you update your personal information if changes occur.  This includes current mailing address, telephone, household members, and income.  BHA conducts a semi-annual update of the wait list and sends information by mail to all applicants.  Letters returned by the postal service will result in removal of an applicant from the wait list.  Applicants who fail to respond to an update letter will also have their application removed from the wait list.

We do not have an estimate of when the Section 8 or Public Housing wait lists will re-open.  BHA will continue to monitor the size and wait time of the wait list and will make a formal announcement upon its re-opening.
