Bremerton Rental Assistance Program

For a limited time, the City of Bremerton is administering a program with the Bremerton Housing Authority that provides financial assistance to qualified lower-income renter households living within the city limit of Bremerton.

Three forms of assistance are available:

  • Short-term funds to assist with payment of rent;
  • Eviction prevention; and
  • Rapid Re-housing – designed to prevent homelessness.

Participants must live within the municipal boundaries of Bremerton and have a combined household income between 40 and 60 percent of the area median income.

There are no exceptions to these requirements. Must be 18 years of age or older.

NOTE: The BHA Rental Assistance Program is a one (1) time opportunity.  If a person received BHA Rental Assistance in 2019 they will not qualify for assistance in 2020 going forward.
