Kitsap Eviction Prevention Assistance Program (KEPA)

Kitsap Eviction Prevention Assistance or KEPA for BHA residents.

This program requires the cooperation of both the landlord and the tenant as information & paperwork will need to be submitted by both parties.

You must be one (1) month behind on rent to qualify.

The KEPA program, through Bremerton Housing Authority, is designed for households that are currently receiving Section 8, Public Housing, or Tax Credit assistance residing within the city limits of Bremerton.

If you live in Kitsap County you will contact KITSAP COMMUNITY RESOURCES at KCR.ORG or by phone: 360-473-2035 to apply through their program.

For BHA residents please download the PRE-APPLICATION form and submit a completed application along with the required documents to the SECURE DROP BOX at the main BHA building located at 600 Park Avenue in Bremerton, WA 98337. The drop box is to the left of the main door. 


You must submit your current lease agreement, income information, including any unemployment, and a statement/proof of how COVID-19 has had an impact on you or your family along with filled out PRE-APPLICATION.

BHA does not help with utility assistance. If you need help with your utilities, please contact Kitsap Community Resources at KCR.ORG or 360-473-0235.
