For a limited time, the City of Bremerton is administering a program with Bremerton Housing Authority that provides financial assistance to qualified lower-income renter households living within the city limits of Bremerton.
Three forms of assistance are available:
- Short-term funds to assist with payment of rent;
- Eviction prevention; and
- Assistance with security deposits.
Participants must live within the municipal boundaries of Bremerton and have a combined household income between 40 and 60 percent of area median income. There are no exceptions to these requirements.
Income limits vary by household size:
For a household of one person annual income must be above $23,960 and not exceed $35,960.
For a household of two people annual income must be above $27,360 and not exceed $41,040.
For a household of three people annual income must be above $30,080 and not exceed $46,200.
For a household of four people annual income must be above $34,200 and not exceed $51,300.
For a household of five people annual income must be above $36,960 and not exceed $55,440.
For a household of six people annual income must be above $39,680 and not exceed $59,520.
For a household of seven people annual income must be above $42,440 and not exceed $63,660.
For a household of eight people annual income must be above $45,160 and not exceed $67,740.
