Save My Spot in RENTCafé due April 12, 2024
If you are on BHA’s Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waitlist or know someone who might be, BHA is currently updating our records and needs to know who is interested in staying on the waitlist.
To save your spot with “Save My Spot”:
- Log into BHA’s RENTCafé portal at: www.bremertonhousing.org/app-portal
- If you are having difficulty logging in or need to register, use the helpful links provided here: www.bremertonhousing.org/rentcafe
- Click on the “Save My Spot” tile from the home screen and follow the prompts.
- If the tile is not showing, it means you may have already completed the task or that you are not on the HCV Section 8 waitlist. If you think this is an error, please contact Bremerton Housing Authority by sending an email to: contactus@bremertonhousing.org
- Complete “Save My Spot” by April 12, 2024 (this is an extension from the original date of the letter) or the applicant will be removed from the waitlist(s).
Around January 15, letters about “Save My Spot” were mailed out to applicants on the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waitlist. Many of these letters were not mailable due to the applicant not having a mailing address on file. While accompanying emails were also sent out, we want to make sure that all applicants have the opportunity to stay on our waitlist.
If you are working with someone that may be on the waitlist, please reach out to them and check if they’ve recently received an email about saving their spot on the waitlist.
Please share this information with your network if you think it would be beneficial and follow the instructions above to help them save their spot. Please note the final deadline has been extended to April 12, 2024.
The BHA waitlists remain closed to new applicants. This notice is only for those currently on our Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waitlist.
Please email contactus@bremertonhousing.org if you have questions.
